Arnaud Rouanet

Postdoctoral researcher at VUB since January 2024 on the project H₂GridTwin, working on developing a digital twin of a hydrogen-to-grid living lab using Reduced Order Models of H₂-fueled district heating and micro gas turbine.

Ph.D. of Engineering obtained in February 2024 from UCLouvain in the field of biomass gasification, with the title "Enhancing small-scale biomass gasification through steam and oxygen injection - Experimental and numerical analysis". My doctoral research mainly consisted of an experimental study of the impact of steam and oxygen injection in a pilot two-stage downdraft wood gasifier, and the development of a numerical model of the gasifier with Ansys FLUENT in collaboration with the University of Vigo.
