Biography
Daniele D'Ambrosio obtained his Master of Science in Wind Energy from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in 2017. In the same year, he joined the fluid mechanics and thermodynamics research group (FLOW) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) as a PhD researcher and teaching assistant under the supervision of Prof. Mark Runacres and Prof. Tim De Troyer.
His research activities focus on the application of data-driven modelling for the generation of surrogate wind speed time series. His research interests include wind resource assessment and atmospheric boundary layer flows.
