Emanuele Bombardi
Biography
Emanuele Bombardi received his BSc dregree in Mathematics for engineering (2019) and MSc (2023) degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin. He did his master's thesis at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics working on CFD and MBS in the flapping wing vehicles context.
His research interests range from turbulence modeling and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to data-driven techniques to solve complex multi-physics problems. Currently, he is undertaking a Ph.D. under the supervion of Prof. Alessandro Parente in the Aero-Thermo-Mechanics Department of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of ULB. The project investigates machine learning and CFD techniques for air quality modelling and management.
