Florian Fettweis

Florian Fettweis received his degree of Master of Science in Electromechanical Engineering Technology in the option Renewable Energy at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2020, after which he worked at the centre of excellence of Atlas Copco Airpower until November 2020. Since November 2020 he was granted a Baekeland mandate in cooperation with Atlas Copco Airpower and VUB.

Research interests: Micro positioning systems for clearance control in turbo machinery; finite element simulations, CAD design, dynamics of machines, computational fluid dynamics.
