Georgios Rekkas Ventiris

Georgios obtained a Double Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi) in 2020. After working as a validation engineer, he moved to Belgium in June 2021, to work as a teaching assistant and start his Ph.D. at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Under the supervision of Prof. Bellemans, his research focuses on the reduction of detailed plasma kinetics for combustion applications, using data-driven methods.
