Matteo Savarese

Matteo Savarese graduated in Chemical Engineering at Università di Pisa (Italy) in 2020. He worked on his Master Thesis at the Aero-Thermo-Mechanic department of the Université Libre de Bruxelles during an exchange program, where he developed a dynamical model, suited for control system design, of a MILD combustion furnace, combining experiments and Computational Fluid Dynamic.
As part of the BEST team, he will attend a joint PhD program between ULB and UMONS. His work will focus on the characterization of alternative fuels, namely Hydrogen and Ammonia mixtures, in advanced combustion technologies and non-conventional combustion regimes.
