The H2-HeatNet project aims at developping a planification tool for the integration of hydrogen-based energy systems into urban district heating networks. In collaboration with Sibelga, the distribution network operator for electricity and natural gas in Brussels, BRITE will work on the optimal deployment of hydrogen-based energy systems integrated into urban district heating networks as a mean to decarbonise the heating sector in Brussels and any other large city. H2-HeatNet is funded by Innoviris.
