Léo Cotteleer

Léo Cotteleer received his BSc (2018) and MSc (2020) degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Liège during which he realized a research stay at the ISAE-SUPAERO (France) and an internship in the Formula 1 Team Red Bull Racing. In 2022, he also graduated in Management at HEC-Liège.

His research interests range from turbulence modeling and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to data-driven techniques to solve complex multi-physics problems. Currently, he is undertaking a Ph.D. under the supervion of Prof. Alessandro Parente in the Aero-Thermo-Mechanics Department of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of ULB. The project investigates machine learning and CFD techniques for air quality modelling and management.

Besides that, he is involved in the scientific community through general public communication with his scientific outreach Instagram account @easyspacy.
